Initial Consulting Location Manager
Submitted via PHILMlist.com
Description from Submitter: I’m producing Given, an independent period film set at a single, very isolated farmstead in the 1850s, and looking for an experienced Pennsylvania-based location manager for an initial consultation.
We’d like guidance on finding a suitable property, likely rental costs, and the practical challenges of filming in a remote setting—including access, power, parking, and crew facilities—on a tight indie budget.
Rate: $250 flat for a 60–90-minute consultation, including light advance review of a project overview and location requirements. Any subsequent scouting would be scoped and paid separately.
Please send relevant credits, experience with rural Pennsylvania locations, and availability to [email protected].
Philadelphia Film Jobs & Opportunities
Multimedia Producer & Social Media Editor
Submitted via PHILMlist.com
Description from Submitter: We're looking for a hands-on creative who thrives on doing the work, not just developing the strategy. Someone who can take an idea from concept to creation to publication, helping build the voice and audience of an exciting new Philadelphia cultural and entertainment destination.
The ideal candidate loves making things, not just planning them. Someone who can find stories, shoot photos and video, write, edit, publish, and engage with audiences independently.
We're especially interested in people with backgrounds in independent media, small newsrooms, YouTube, podcasting, or running their own social media channels.
We value curiosity, editorial instincts, creativity, initiative, and demonstrated output over corporate marketing experience or impressive job titles.
You'll have considerable creative freedom, real ownership of your work, and the authority to hit "Publish."
To Apply
Email me: [email protected]
1. Three examples of finished work, explaining what you personally created or contributed to each.
2. One story about something you made entirely on your own initiative, simply because you wanted to, without anyone asking you to do it.
